Blessing Day...

Adalyn Kay was blessed by her daddy on March 1, 2009.
John gave such a beautiful blessing and had me in tears. What a special day for Ady, as we enjoyed it will all of our family. She wore my pink blessing dress that I was blessed in and a beautiful headband from her Aunt Sid in California. She looked like a little princess and the boys couldn't get over her dress that was 'way tooo big' :). I only captured one half smile on this day --- Ady just wasn't herself as our company started leaving. I ended up being up with her the entire night on Sunday and went to the Dr. early Monday morning to find she had an ear infection and we were almost admitted for RSV. Boy did I feel like a terrible mother, I just thought she got loved and held too much and was starting a cold! We got an antibiotic for the infection and scheduled daily visits to our Dr. to monitor her oxygen levels and temperature. She has been doing so much better and we are finally getting her real smiles back as of today! We love you Adalyn!

I hope Ady gets better quickly. The doctors think a lot of Matthew's issues have been because of RSV too many times. Glad her special day went well.

Kassie...Ady is such a little doll. What a special day and she looks just beautiful in that little dress. I'm sorry that she is not feeling very well. I'll pray that it doesn't turn into RSV. I hope you are doing well!

P.S. I am really sad to be moving. I will miss the neighborhood and our ward so much, but I will definitely be back for MANY visits :)

Sue B, she's beautiful! I hope she gets better soon--Sajay also had a respiratory infection. It's so hard when the little ones are sick! You guys take care!

that is so neat you got to carry on with your dress. It is hard with babies to know what the problem really is. i'm sure part of her blessing was already fullfilled. bless you all! ainslie

How beautiful is she!!!! I bet it is way too fun to play dress up after two boys. Ahh, maybe one day. I love the picture of John and Ady! I'm sorry about the RSV. I'm glad she is doing better. We need to get together again as soon as all the gunk goes away.

Isn't it so much fun having a girl! :) It's so sad when they get sick, but all three of mine ended up with tubes because of so many ear infections. She's beautiful like her mom. Luv ya1 :) Nancy

I wanted to tell you too, that Quinny, my first, wore my dress too and she's still wearing it. That is an awesome thing to get to pass along.

What a sweetie! Don't feel like a horrible mother...I took Austin in for a normal check-up and the doctor told me that he had an ear infection that he was getting over. Boy did that make me wonder where I went wrong. Anyway, she is adorable. I think big brothers know from day one that little sisters are special. I love it!! And oh...I loved the tutu/pirate hat.
